The Marksman is one of the three classes in the game that currently wear green clothing - the other two are Spray N Pray and Rocketeer. The Marksman carries a Semi Auto as his primary weapon and a secondary weapon. The old version of Marksman was often seen as a "safer" alternative to Hunter: he had the same long-range capacity due to possessing a scope, but also had a full HP, instead of 90, and his weapon had double the sniper's ammo capacity back then, along with a faster fire rate.
Thus, while missing a first shot with a Hunter is often the end of the encounter unless you are at a very long range, the player dodges behind cover in time, or faces a wounded enemy and switches to secondary weaponMarksman was able take damage before firing again and hopefully finishing off the target.
This was compensated by his inability to score one-shot kills though at one point that was possible if the player was able to land a headshot and thus needing to land multiple hits through the optical scope as your target closes in, or switching to a secondary weapon. However, the Semi Auto was first reworked to have a faster fire rate and an ammo count of 8 but to also deal lower damage per shot.
This set-up proved very cumbersome with the optical scope, and so it has been reworked with the laser-dot sight. This makes the current version of the weapon very effective at medium range, and while it's far from the best short-range option, it also no longer has a crippling disadvantage if your opponent closes in.
Yet, the Semi Auto is still very accurate at longer ranges though it no longer has the same "infinite" range as the Sniper Rifle, which may be important during some Custom Games. While you now have to aim more carefully through its scope to get hits at such ranges, you will also get Longshot points if you do. During the team modesMarksman can reliably wound enemy players at long ranges before fast-firing medium-range classes like Triggerman or Spray N Pray finish them off, and provide covering fire while he reloads.

Fan Feed 0 Skins 1 Krunker. Universal Conquest Wiki.On this page you will find my Krunker mod, scope, and settings that I personally use. I am using the non-FPS based sliding setting turned ON now, so a variety of my settings have changed. However, there are some important things to note:. Should be working properly now. If max framerates are high but inconsistent average frames, then lower frame cap.
If framerates are too low overall but more stable, increase framecap. The goal of this mod is to keep the familiarity of the original game sounds but add some realism and more punch for maximum satisfaction. I took some of the best sounds from other FPS games and remixed them into the Krunker sounds. Note: there are other sounds included in the file that are un-modded and that's because I normalized the volume levels across all weapons.
Why is that? There is a hard stroke around the edge of the circle to ensure good visibility. A gradient pattern that gets lighter towards the center draws your eyes towards the center without being too distracting. The outer glow adds a touch of realism. This is a blue dot red dot image. I hope that makes sense. The effect is that it grows in intensity when you aim in.
I like my scopes super simple. The scope image stacks on top of the crosshair image, encircling it. To compensate for the higher level of zoom, the scope essentially acts like a bigger version of the crosshair. Double-click on box below to select all of the text. Get the CSS here. Believe it or not, I am now playing with shaders turned off. I like how clean the game looks with shaders off but keeping shadows ON.The Sniper Rifle is the primary weapon used by the Hunter. It was present during the game's launch. With it's high base damage, it can one-shot every other class but the Spray N Pray. The Intervention model of the Sniper Rifle in Krunker is based off its real-life counter-part, the American-made CheyTac M Interventiona bolt-action sniper rifle.
The Good Ol' Days model of the Sniper Rifle in Krunker is an earlier version of the current Sniper Rifle model; similar to the current model, this earlier model of the Sniper Rifle is based off it's real-life counter-part, British-made Arctic Warfare rifle series. The Scout Mastery model of the Sniper Rifle in Krunker is based off its real-life counter-part, the American-made Remington Modela bolt-action sporting rifle.
Like many of Krunker's weapons, the Sniper Rifle is based off of its predecessors in Vertix. In-game, the Sniper Rifle is a bolt-action rifle firing slightly more than 40 rounds per minute. Its long range and high base damage allows this weapon to one-hit kill almost all classes at most engagement distances.
Due to the Hunter's low health, players must land their first shot with this weapon or risk being out-gunned by all other classes.
The only exception to this would be when encountering a Spray N Pray since that is the only class the sniper rifle cannot one shot, meaning players have to finish off the opponent with either a secondary or melee weapon. The sniper is the only weapon that can obtain the bonuses for quick-scope and no-scope kills.
Combined with the hunter's low health, this can create high-risk, high-reward scenarios that must be resolved quickly by the player to decide whether or not to try to perform a riskier move for extra points. However, slide-hopping makes this remove some incentive to perform a proper sniper role, allowing for a playstyle more akin to a typical shotgun role, which many players adopt. Visit the Hunter page for the history on the class itself.

Universal Conquest Wiki.A beginner with no prior experience may find the many rifle scope reticle types overwhelming. There are usually many components to fix and more guidelines to follow. Choosing the specific riflescope is as essential as knowing the fundamental parts of your rifle. Often, design, as well as markings, distinguish one scope reticle from another.
Of course, many users say it is the most challenging part of a rifle scope. Others perhaps find it confusing and too practical. This article is focusing on making your preferred activity more satisfying; therefore, rifle scope reticle types will be discussed in detail. This scope reticle is the most ingenious of the lot and has been upgraded over the years to serve users better.
It is made up of a single horizontal and a single vertical cross hair, both cross and create an aiming point at the center. Manufacturers often make use of simple cross wires to help set the aim point. Also, the windage and elevation lines are on the same plane. Scope crosshairs have maximum ease of use and pinpoint precision. However, if they are not handled carefully, the thinness of the components makes them prone to breakage.
Both beginners and professional hunters will find the duplex reticle easier to work with. Duplex reticles are the enhanced version of crosshairs scopes. They have thin crosshair centers. However, the centers are thicker and denser towards the scope edge, and the four cross hairs thin out so the eye remains drawn to the aiming point.
It is more of the all-purpose kind of reticle. In specific designs, a dot is seen at the center of a duplex reticle to enhance visibility. The dot feature makes it easy for the shooter to focus on a moving target. Designed for long range hunting, snipers and target shooters, the mil dot reticle is a must-have.
It also looks like a crosshair but with a significant twist. In place of a line, it has a dot.
Usually, the dots are 1-mil apart, so distance is calculated within the reticle. With the mil dots, the distance between you and the target is easy to figure out. This article is about the settings that apply to every game of Krunker you play once set, and which can be accessed by clicking Settings on the main page. Only recommended for players with weaker network connections. Compensates for lost packets transferred due to lag by "predicting" what would've happened. Automatically directs your connection to the server with the best connection.
May improve ping. Requires the game to be restarted to go into effect. Can improve hitreg if toggled on, at the cost of using up more bandwidth. This video analyzes the setting in greater detail. To summarize, the game sends more packets from the user's end to the server to improve hit reg, movement, and overall performance.
A slider that controls the resolution you have while playing Krunker. The default value is 0. It can go down to 0. Enabling higher resolutions makes the game look better, but is more taxing on your computer, and can cause the game to lag.
Setting the slider to 0 removes the limit, or "uncaps FPS". It is on frame cap 0 default. Toggling this on, will cut down the game's most performance seeking, unessential tasks and make the game run more smoothly, since the visual aspect of the game is reduced, it is recommended to turn this on only on lowe- end computers.
Toggling this off will remove special Map properties like Grass, etc. Turns particle effects i. Enabled by default. Again, the game looks better with these effects enabled, but it can run worse on weaker computers.

Their colour values were also restricted to a small subset of the colours used on computers today. After black and white came 8-bit colour, leading to the distinctive 8-bit pixel art that we know today.
Due to these constraints, all early computer games had to use pixel art for their visual elements. Of course, as screen resolution increased and computing power became better, the pixellated quality of game art assets became less visible.

This is because once bitten, the bug remains! The thrill of acquiring and hitting targets over long ranges will be something that gives a real sense of achievement.
However, hitting those long-distance targets is no easy feat. Patience, precision, and practice all come into play, but there is one accessory that will really help you achieve your goal…. The best sniper scopes are specialized optics. They have been designed to lie a targeting reticle on top of the amplified image you will be viewing. We have all read of the highly-skilled snipers that play such an important part in global military operations. The term appears to have been coined around the mids by the British Military in India.
During their downtime, troops stationed there hunted Snipe. The size and speed of these birds made them particularly difficult to hit. Moving several centuries on, it is said that the science of sniping came of age during the Vietnam War. More recently, snipers have been used to impressive effect in Iraq. It will seem inconceivable to many of us military and civilian shooters alike!
It measured an astonishing 3, yards 3, meters. His stunningly accurate shot hit and killed an IS militant. To achieve such distances and accuracy, military snipers obviously have an advantage. They are specially and intensively trained. They can also take full advantage of military designed weapon and accessory technology, which is not legally available to civilians.
So, please rest assured, we are not expecting you to achieve such distances with your favorite weapon and new sniper scope. But, what you can expect with practice, patience, and one of these sniper scopes is satisfaction. This satisfaction will come from consistently hitting targets that are in the, and 1,plus yard range.
Choosing the one that best suits your personal needs will go a long way to ensuring you achieve long-shot accuracy to be rightly proud of. They have gained a very solid reputation among firearms enthusiasts for the quality offered at prices to please.

On top of this, it is nitrogen purged to guarantee water and fog-proof performance. The extra-low dispersion glass and lenses are fully multi-coated to provide a crisp and bright viewing image.
The glass-etched reticle in the first focal plane works to keep subtensions accurate throughout the zoom range. You will also find that the precision-glide erector system has been built using premium components. This ensures smooth magnification steps for clarity in even the harshest of hunting conditions. Acquiring long-range targets is one thing. Hitting them is another! The Vortex Diamondback Tactical riflescope certainly assists in both. It has features such as exposed tactical turrets, a side parallax knob, and a fast-focus eyepiece, which affords quick, easy reticle focusing.
Because of the wide choice of quality optics offered, we must stay with Vortex for our next two reviews. The configuration we are reviewing is MOA — x magnification with a 24mm objective lens. For the majority of shooters, this configuration makes it more suited to hunting and target shooting than for tactical use.
